Good protection, bad for heat,
This cover is great protection and shock absorption for day-to-day use, but encasing your Charge in rubber is a great way to make it overheat while charging, especially with the Charge’s short battery life. I’m charging my phone all the time–in the car, next to my computer, etc. I always have to remove the sleeve to prevent overheating, and it becomes a nuisance.
I blame the phone more than the case.

The silicone case is thick, but it doesn’t fit all that tight. When your hand grips the phone, you can tell that there is space between the battery cover and the silicone case. You would be better off buying a hard snap-on case with the rubberized finish. In my opinion, it protects the phone a little better and has an overall better feel when using the phone. I have had a number of silicone cases for my Blackberry, and I’ve been pleased with them, and I would continue to choose a silicone case over a hard case for a Blackberry. But this simply doesn’t have the same feel as the silicone cases for the Blackberry, and I would strongly recommend going with a hard case for the Droid Charge.
If you’re one of those people that only use cases occasionally, this might not be bad to protect it from scratches. But for someone that is looking for a case to use all the time, you’re better off spending the same amount on a hard case.

Works great, stays in place. Even works while phone is in cradle in the car. Can’t beat the price. Would highly recommend.
