Really Good Product With One Minor Flaw,
I brought this product to extend my auxiliary port from my desktop to a more comfortable place to be able to sit and listen to music. I have to say that the sound is exceptional, I believe that the gold plate is one of the reasons why (I just use regular iPod earbuds). The wire is well built and the perfect distance for my needs. However there is a flaw in the design, on each end of the cable near the female end of 3.5mm jack and the male end of the 3.5mm jack it has a silver shell that can be unscrewed, for purposes unknown to me. Sometimes with just regular usage it unscrews and drops to the middle of the cable adding a counterweight that pulls my earbuds downward. Its an annoyance but nothing extreme that takes away from the overall build and sound quality.
