It works as advertised,
I purchased this to connect my Motorola Xoom to my Canon DSLR camera. On its own, the Xoom (or any other android device for that matter) should recognize your camera as a card reader. You can get apps that allow your android to function as a monitor just like the canon software does on the PC, but as of this review, you cannot use it for live video.
This little adapter makes it possible to connect mice, keyboards, card readers, flash cards, just about anything a PC can use, but make sure there is software that supports your device first.

|Nexus 7 – Watch movies from USB – UNROOTED!,
With this cable and the “Nexus Media Importer” app, I can watch movies stored on a flash drive WITHOUT ROOT on my Nexus 7.
App works read only, but now I don’t have to worry about running out of memory on the Nexus.

|Not sure what the problem is. . . .,
I bought this cable for my Motorola Xoom to use for a couple of things. The first to simply be able to connect thumbdrives to the Xoom and secondly to connect my Canon T2i DSLR for a remote control application. Unfortunately the cable does not work, even after another reviewer said that it worked on his Xoom. So I’m not sure where the problem is. Is it a bad cable or is it possibly that with the latest version of android the cable is no longer compatible? My Xoom has Android version 3.2.1 with Kernel version 2.6.36.3-g11d827 and Build number HTK74D. Basically a stock WiFi model Xoom with all the updates.
In any case I’m returning the cable and probably simply go with the “official” Motorola cable instead.

|Does what its meant to but fails on some regards,
I have a galaxy Nexus from samsung — its a big phone and unfortunately will no longer fit in my belkin strap… Considering the options, this is unfortunately the best. With that being said let me say what it does and what it doesnt:
what it does:
Holds my phone
what it doesnt do:
protect it from sweat (the entire thing is fabric except for the face)
give me a sense of security (the open top is loose and just seems like a potential accident waiting to happen)
fasten securely (the belt seems a bit sloppy sometimes — although I have NEVER had it unfasten)
All in all, its the best option as of 6/12.. but hopefully higher quality bands come out soon.

|Fits Razr Maxx,
Snug fit on Razr Maxx so even upside down it will not slide out accidentally. Full access to the screen, without bubbles or waves, the plastic is tight and held to the phone to allow smooth scrolling and responsive tapping. No button holes on side but they can be depressed through the material that prevents moisture from getting to the device if there were holes. There is also a flap on the top that could be pushed out of the way for headphones to plug in but would other wise provide some top protection from the occasional sweat or rain drop. At the widest the armband allows for a setting 13″ around so you can measure where you want to put it on your arm and decide if the extension is necessary.

|Fits Droid RAZR Like a Glove,
Works as promised. My Razr slides easily into the Tune Belt and is safely held there while I run. The band fits easily around my upper arms and they’re not exactly small upper arms either. And I’m able to use the touchscreen through the protective plastic cover. Yup, works as promised and is a great companion on runs.
